These terms cover the Guitarry desktop app and guitarry.com. Using either means you agree to them.

What Guitarry is

Guitarry for desktop is a fretboard learning and visualization tool. It can track the guitar neck through your laptop camera and place user-selected chord, scale, triad, key, or tab overlays on it. Its tuner listens on-device. This release does not listen to, grade, diagnose, or verify your playing, and it does not track your fingertips.

Purchase

Guitarry for Windows is sold and billed by Microsoft through the Microsoft Store as a one-time purchase. The price and any applicable tax are shown by Microsoft before you buy. The purchase unlocks every feature in the app, does not renew, and is tied to the Microsoft account used for the Store purchase. You may install it on Windows devices where that account is signed in, subject to Microsoft Store device and usage rules.

Guitarry for Mac is sold and billed by Apple through the Mac App Store as a one-time purchase. The price and any applicable tax are shown by Apple before you buy. The purchase unlocks every feature in the app, does not renew, and is tied to the Apple Account used for the App Store purchase. The two apps are sold separately: a Microsoft Store purchase does not entitle you to the Mac app, and a Mac App Store purchase does not entitle you to the Windows app.

Refund eligibility and processing are governed by the refund policy of the store you bought from — Microsoft’s or Apple’s. If store details conflict with this page, do not purchase and contact [email protected] so we can correct our copy.

Subscriptions started before September 9, 2026 remain supported through their paid-through date. They are managed through the Lemon Squeezy order portal linked from the original receipt; cancelling stops the next renewal, and access continues through the period already paid for.

Refunds and billing help

For a Microsoft Store charge or refund, use the order history and support options on the Microsoft account that bought Guitarry. For a Mac App Store charge or refund, use Apple’s “Report a Problem” page or your App Store purchase history on the Apple Account that bought Guitarry. For an app problem or help identifying the purchase, email [email protected]; never send a full card number or account password.

Your use

Guitarry’s fretboard graphics and app content belong to Guitarry and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Don’t copy, resell, or redistribute them. You retain rights to original material you enter into Tab Creator. Only import material you created, that is public domain, or that you are permitted to use. Practice sensibly—stop if something hurts; app content is instructional information, not personal instruction.

No warranty, limited liability

Guitarry is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep fretboard tracking and the tuner useful, but we don’t guarantee the app is error-free or always available, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your home country.

Ending or changing things

You can stop using Guitarry at any time. Deleting the app’s local data removes its settings, saved sessions, and locally created tabs from that computer; it does not remove the Store purchase from your Microsoft or Apple Account. We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date. See the privacy policy for data details.
